Berghof Turrach is a quaint holiday home completely made of wood, located in the mining village of Turrach at 1,250 m altitude.
The property is an estimated 250 to 300 years old and was originally built for the mining workers at that time. Between 2009 bis 2012 it was completely renovated, followed by the installment of a new roof and a pellets heating in summer 2017.
From 2019 to 2022, the attic was expanded and a new parking space added. Hybride and electric cars can be charged with the 230 V charger on the parking lot.
It’s just ten minutes from the Turracher Höhe (1,860 m – 2,200 m) ski resort and five minutes to theTurrachbahn base station. There are free parking spaces available and a cash desk to buy ski passes for the Turracher Höhe ski area. Thus, skiers and boarders can get straight out onto the pistes without waiting times. A cozy hut with sun deck invites for a quick refreshment stop between ski runs and ensures carefree transport to and from the slopes.
Other large ski resorts in close vicinity include Bad Kleinkirchheim (approx. 20 minutes by car) or, equally beautiful, Radstädter Tauern at 2,400 m above sea level, which can be reached in just 45 minutes by car.
